For today’s newsletter we would like to help you get to know a member of our team, our Director of Investor Relations, Katie Klezek!

Katie is the grease to our wheels and keeps everything moving smoothly at 7e. She is the first point of contact for new investors – helping them through the onboarding process and answering any questions they bring her way. She brings a positive attitude and innovative solutions to any problem. 

Q&A

Q.     What are some of your strengths that you bring to 7e? 

1. Probably my positivity and problem-solving skills. I want our investors to have a smooth and enjoyable experience when investing with 7e, so I enjoy hearing feedback from our investors and my team to find ways to bring positive customer experiences to our business.  

Q. What is your favorite thing about working with the 7e team? 

1. Hands down the people. Our team is knowledgeable, hard-working, and helpful. Everyone brings something unique to the table and it’s been so fun to collaborate with people from different backgrounds and experiences.

Q. What did you do before working with 7e?  

1. Prior to joining 7e, I spent about seven years in Multifamily (read: apartment buildings) real estate investment & property management. I had the opportunity to work in various departments including Operations & Investor Relations.

Q. What did you study in college?

1. I studied English & Education at the University of California Santa Barbara. Cramming for tests by the beach wasn’t terrible.

Q. What are some of your hobbies outside of work? 

1. I love anything outdoors and active; hiking, camping & spending time with friends. I am a big extrovert, so I spend a lot of time with loved ones. But I also love curling up in a comfy chair with a good book and a glass of wine.  

Q. What is a book you recently read or would recommend? 

1. Kind of a sci-fi/fantasy nerd, so anything in that genre. Currently reading “The Fifth Season” by N.K. Jemisin as part of my local library’s featured title for 2022…and yes, I follow my local library’s book recommendations. #nerd 

Q. How do you drink your coffee? 

1. Super boring, but I love black coffee. Keeps it easy! I tend to be pickier with my mug selection.

Katie’s passion for efficient, kind, and professional communication really shines through in her day-to-day work, and she is the person who makes sure our wonderful investors get their monthly dividends on time!
